Survival Kit
Thrive on your E Bike
Riding any bike is not about survival, it's about enjoying the day. We've talked to a lot of riders about there" don't leave home without kit" and decided to put together a number of kits, to keep your bike safe keep yourself safe and not be inconvenienced by the unforeseen.
After checking out costings and freight we have decided to put together a number of kits that we hope will fit your requirements.
A small frame pump or one of the new battery-powered mini pumps is a game changer. They’re tiny, fast, and surprisingly powerful.
Why they’re worth it:
-
Fits in a jersey pocket or saddle bag
-
Pumps up in under a minute
-
Can inflate car tyres and sports balls too
-
Saves long walks home
I learned the hard way after nearly losing mine outside a café.
What works:
-
Heavy duty combo chain lock
-
Disc brake lock (great quick stop option)
-
Folding locks (like RockBros/ABUS style) — compact but tough
My rule now: two locks if leaving it longer than 10 minutes
Waterproof phone mount
Using Chrome Maps or your favourite cycling app turns your e-bike into a proper commuter machine.
Benefits:
-
Turn-by-turn navigation
-
Speed tracking
-
Battery range planning
-
Ride recording
Pro tip most riders don’t know:
Many e-bike control units have USB ports so you can charge your phone while riding. Handy on long days out.
